Full list of explosive claims Eamonn Holmes made about Phillip Schofield

Eamonn Holmes has slammed Phillip Schofield and his former employer ITV in an interview with Dan Wootton on GB News.

The bombshell chat comes amid controversy after Phillip Schofield admitted having an affair with a younger colleague and was dropped by his agency as well as ITV.

Eamonn, 63, insisted he was 'speaking out for those who had no voice' following the news his former colleague had embarked on an affair with a young runner on This Morning, reports the Mirror.

Phillip admitted to lying to his management, lawyers, family and friends over the "unwise" but "not illegal" affair.

Here are the claims Eamonn made in the latest part of the interview...

Queuegate Excuse

In September 2022, following the death of the Queen, Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield were heavily criticised when they were accused of skipping the queue for entry at Queen Elizabeth II's lying-in-state in September 2022.

Following the uproar, Holly and Phillip issued a statement via This Morning, insisting they were there for work purposes and did not file past Her Late Majesty.

ITV claimed the duo were there as "part of a film for the programme."

However, now Eamonn has hit out in the interview, sensationally claiming ITV had lied and no film was ever made.

Speaking on GB News, he said: "Let's get on to the Queen's funeral – they were there to make a film on the Queen's funeral.

"Have you seen the film?" he asked Dan Wootton who responded: "There was no film."

"Well apparently they were there to make that, that's the official line given by the editor of the programme," Eamonn added before continuing: "They were there to make a film.

"Unless there's any documentary evidence of this, I would put it to you, that is another lie!"

Fake Friendship

Eammon slammed Holly Willoughby's 'sudden friendship' with fellow This Morning presenter Alison Hammond, who has been on the show for 13 years.

He said: "This nonsense about Holly Willoughby and Alison Hammond as her best friend and [Holly] was at Alison's birthday party...Alison Hammond goes to Holly Willoughby's select nights out with her friends..

"This nonsense about Holly Willoughby and Alison Hammond as her best friend and [Holly] was at Alison's birthday party...Alison Hammond goes to Holly Willoughby's select nights out with her friends...," he said.

"This wouldn't have happened two years ago. Are you kidding? Alison Hammond has been on the programme 13 years and I'm sure there was very little contact between her and the presenters.

"People just use other people and it's disgusting."

Fake NTAs hangover

Philip and Holly were known to amuse fans following the National Television Awards.

The pair turned up in the same outfits as the previous night in 2016, as they took naps on the ITV sofa.

Over the years, things became wilder as the presenters briefly failed to show up in 2018 and even climbed into bed for a segment.

In 2020, Holly and Phil made it clear that they weren't feeling their best but they soon cured this by downing Bloody Mary's live on air.

However, fans took to social media to talk about how fresh-faced the pair looked despite a boozy night beforehand.

As well as fans, it seems like Eamonn also didn't believe the duo and claimed: "This Morning, under the guise of Holly and Phil, is a very false existence."

Speaking about the day after the NTAs, he said: "They're allowed to turn up the next day advocating the use of drink and sit on a couch like, 'Oh I'm so drunk' or 'I haven't been to bed'."

He called out the broadcasters hypocrisy by revealing he and his wife were prevented from advertising chocolate because it's "poisonous".

Eamonn added: "These are rules for one and rules for another... Does that make me bitter? Maybe it does."

"They come in doing their drunk act. It's either an act, in which case it's false, or they are drunk and it should not be allowed."

Meghan Markle 'influence'

Towards the end of the tell-all interview, it was even claimed Meghan Markle appeared to have a lot of influence over ITV and its chief executive Carolyn McCall.

Dan claimed to Eamonn: "There was one other person who had a lot of influence on Carolyn McCall, a certain Ms. Markle, who didn't like the fact that you criticised her in the past and that Piers Morgan didn't believe her lies."

"She seems to have a lot of influence on woke ITV."

Eamonn laughed before saying the best way to deal with Carolyn and Meghan is to "laugh at them and laugh at their 'wokery' because they're humourless."

Ruth is still in touch with Phillip's former lover

Two days after his This Morning exit, Phillip admitted he had an 'unwise but not illegal' affair with a young man who worked on the show.

When probed about the runner, who moved from working on This Morning to Loose Women, Eamonn said: "Ruth and I particularly looked after him, he never once talked to us about any relationship, but we knew he was in a bad way and he was in a bad way fragilely.

"There’s an incredible duty of care that needs to go towards that young man."

Dan asked Eamonn: "Are you still in touch with the young colleague? And is he doing okay?"

He responded: "I'm not, Ruth is. I think life's tough for him."

'Only ONE Loose Women star liked Phillip'

Eamonn claimed that one of the Loose Women panellists is still in touch with Phillip due to the fact he could open doors for her.

Speaking about the presenter's awkward exchange with Ruth in which he appeared to cut her off in 2019 when she was announcing the line-up on the show, he said: "As for the Loose Women, in the year that you're talking about, the panel that existed, I would say there was probably a minority of one that actually liked Phillip Schofield."

Loose Women stars felt 'demeaned' by Phillip

In the explosive interview, Eamonn looked back on Phil and Ruth's frosty exchange on Loose Women back in 2019.

He said: "He was so rude, so dismissive of the Loose Women."

Claiming a 'good presenter' would have been able to deal with shaving off 20 seconds from the time slot, Eamonn continued: "He was rude to Ruth, saying: 'Why are we doing this [introducing the Loose Women line-up?] What's the point of this?

"I know the Loose Women felt very demeaned."

Phillip's lover driven from his home in cars paid for by ITV

The broadcaster was snapped looking at the runner as This Morning won an award (ITV)

The GB News host made claims that Philip's lover was transported from his home in taxis paid for by ITV.

He told Dan: "I didn't know but I've subsequently found out from a very, very good source, because he [the runner] would arrive much earlier in the morning than I would for the programme, that he was delivered from Phillip’s London home."

He added: "Usually on a Friday morning, because Thursday was playtime when he and Phillip would hit the town and then he obviously stayed overnight."

"There are records to show that he was brought in the next day separately in cars paid for by ITV."

Dan asked: "So the management would have had to have known about that?"

"Unless Phillip paid the bills separately, but it would still have to go through the Accounts Office that they would have seen that and known that and this lad, lovely fellow, lovely fella, really good talented fella," Eamonn replied.

Phillip's affair with younger colleague a 'cover-up' by ITV

Speaking about Phillip's affair with the younger male colleague on This Morning, Eamonn said: "It's an illusion, it's an illusion," as Dan asked: "Isn't it a cover-up?"

"It's a total cover-up," Eamonn claimed. "Those in authority had to know what was going on and they thought they would dodge a bullet with this, and they do constantly.

"With Schofield talking about 'those who speak out against him' namely me, Amanda Holden, [Dan Wootton], you'll be included in the toxicity, Dr Ranj...you simply think, 'No mate, you've had it all your way for far too long.'"
