After closing its doors to shoppers weeks ago, Dunelm has finally taken the decision to reopen some of its stores to the public.
The decision comes following a revision of government guidelines, which now means it can be classed as an 'essential' retailer, and is therefore able to operate its physical stores under social distancing regulations.
A statement on Dunelm's website reads: "We're happy to say that we are reopening 39 stores as part of a careful and gradual process.
"Stores are reopening with a few changes to the way we work to ensure everyone is able to shop safely with social distancing and hygiene measures in place."
The following stores are now open:
- Blackpool
- Boston
- Bournemouth
- Bristol Cribbs Causeway
- Cambridge
- Chelmsford
- Chester
- Chesterfield
- Coventry
- Croydon
- Dartford
- Derby
- Dunstable
- Erdington
- Greenford
- Hastings
- Hemel
- Hereford
- Leeds
- Lincoln
- Maidstone
- Mansfield
- Northampton
- Norwich
- Nottingham
- Oldbury
- Plymouth
- Romford
- Sheffield Woodseats
- Stockport
- Stockton
- Sunderland
- Swindon
- Telford

The store openings mean that shoppers can now click and collect items in stores, including those which are part of the homeware giant's huge 50% off clearance sale which is currently happening.
