Full list of bin collection changes for Platinum Jubilee in Nottinghamshire

Parties are being planned, friends and family invited over and food organised, but with all that comes a lot of extra rubbish. As some bin collectors get ready for a well-earned break, for some Nottinghamshire residents there will be alterations to collection dates.

Some Nottinghamshire households have already witnessed the dilemma of when to put the bin out, with some early alterations at the beginning of the week. However, for others there is more to come. Here's when the rubbish will be collected in your area.

Gedling Borough Council

There are no changes to any bin collection dates this week or next. says Gedling Borough Council. However, it adds: "Just a reminder to have bins out by 6am on your usual collection days".

Rushcliffe Borough Council

Changes have been made to bin collection days in Rushcliffe. The Council directs residents to its refuse collection calendar, which individual to each area of the borough. The 'Find my bin day' search can be reach here.

Nottingham City Council

There are no changes to bin collection this week. The City Council says: "Please put your bins out as normal". Adding: "Thank you to our clean crews for continuing to work over the Jubilee long weekend!"

Mansfield District Council

It's business as usual over in Mansfield too. The district council declared: "Normal bin collections over Jubilee bank holiday". Adding: "Bin collections are not affected over the Jubilee bank holiday and will take place as normal. Please ensure your bin is out by 6am on your scheduled collection day."

Ashfield District Council

Bin collections in Ashfield have changed for the Jubilee weekend. Residents are advised that if their normal collection day is Thursday, June 2, then their collection day will be Wednesday, June 1. If bins are usually emptied on Friday, June 3, then you'll need to put them out on Thursday, June 2. Normal collections wil resume on Saturday, June 4.

Newark and Sherwood District Council

No changes are planned for Newark and Sherwood residents. The Council says: "Please take your bins out as usual over the Jubilee Bank Holiday this week as there are no changes to the waste collection schedule during this time.

Broxtowe Borough Council

There is not change the Broxtowe residents' bin collection days over the Jubilee Bank Holiday. The Councils asks: "Please put your bin out on your normal collection day."

Bassetlaw District Council

Finally, there is no change to collections for residents in Bassetlaw. The council says: "Bin collections are not affected over the Jubilee bank holiday and will take place as normal for Bassetlaw residents. Please ensure your bin is out by 6am on your scheduled collection day."
