Full list of all EFL games being televised in August with 19 teams featuring

The new EFL season is just over a month away.

Yesterday, broadcaster Sky Sports announced its first batch of live matches for the 2021/22 campaign.

They will show a total of 14 league games in August, 13 from the Championship.

It will mean 19 different sides will be on show. Things kick off with Bournemouth against newly-relegated West Brom on Friday, August 6 at 7.45pm.

That opening weekend also sees Sheffield Wednesday's trip to Charlton televised as the Owls embark on a season back in League One. Their neighbours Sheffield United also feature along with Coventry, who are back playing home after a period of exile in Birmingham.

The following weekend sees newly-promoted Peterborough host Wayne Rooney's troubled Derby County.

Later in the month a heavyweight clash sees West Brom host Sheffield United whilst bitter rivals Derby and Nottingham Forest close out the opening month of the new season.
