TSB has released the full list of 82 branches expected to close next year.

The bank announced the closures as part of plans to make £100m of cost cuts by 2022.

The 82 closures will mean that around 370 jobs in the UK will be lost.

TSB has said that it will help staff and customers who have been affected by the plans.

New chief executive Debbie Crosbie said: "Our new strategy positions TSB to succeed in a challenging external environment at a time when we know customers want something different and better from their bank.

“With a trusted brand, modern platform and national presence, TSB is well placed to deliver – but we need to make changes to enable us to compete.

“The plan we’re sharing today involves some difficult decisions, but it sets TSB up to succeed in the future. Taken together, these changes will help us to serve more customers, better, for the long-term.”

The bank will be investing £120m in digital solutions, products and services over the next three years.

By the end of 2020, TSB will have a total of 454 branches across the country.
