LIMF takes over Sefton Park today as the festival gets underway for the seventh year.
The huge festival will see more than 70 acts play across four stages including a highly anticipated set from Chic & Nile Rodgers tonight.
Today the box office opens at 11am, with entertainment from Capital Liverpool until midday.
From midday onwards there is live music until 10pm on Saturday, though last entry to the festival site is 7pm.
