Full Leeds United squad revealed for Wigan clash after transfer window closes

The January transfer window has now shut and Leeds United's squad for the rest of the campaign is set.

Three players arrived at the club last month, with a host of fringe and young players departing.

All attention can now be focused on the remainder of the Championship campaign as Marcelo Bielsa looks to end the Whites' 16-year Premier League exile.

Wigan Athletic are the next opponents as Leeds look to preserve their place at the Championship summit following Tuesday's comeback win against Millwall.

Bielsa's side are nursing only a clutch of casualties as it stands - long-term absentee Adam Forshaw will miss out again while Barry Douglas looks set to also be out of contention - but Gaetano Berardi is expected to return. Kalvin Phillips remains suspended, as he serves the second of a three-match ban.

The headline news will be whether the Argentine chooses to blood any of his fresh recruits however against Paul Cook's struggling side.

Though Elia Caprile is unlikely to get a look-in between the posts, both Jean-Kevin Augustin and Ian Poveda could be in the frame to feature in Bielsa's 18-man match day squad for the hosts.

Leipzig man Augustin, who cut short a spell with Ligue 1 club Monaco for the chance to join Leeds, is arguably the more exciting prospect of the two, though he may have to wait for a turn after Patrick Bamford's brace in midweek.

Former Manchester City starlet Poveda however will be hoping to muscle his way in after he was named in the matchday squad last time out.

Here is a look at the players Bielsa has at his disposal this weekend:

Full Leeds United squad :  Illan Meslier, Luke Ayling, Ben White, Liam Cooper, Ian Poveda, Patrick Bamford, Ezgjan Alioski, Tyler Roberts, Kiko Casilla, Stuart Dallas, Helder Costa, Pablo Hernandez, Jack Harrison, Gaetano Berardi, Jean-Kevin Augustin, Kamil Miazek, Pascal Struijk, Robbie Gotts, Alfie McCalmont, Ryan Edmondson, Mateusz Klich, Mateusz Bogusz, Jamie Shackleton, Jordan Stevens, Oliver Casey.
