Full Leeds United squad revealed for Southampton clash as key duo remain absent

Leeds United will again be without six first-team players for tonight's Elland Road clash against Southampton.

England international Kalvin Phillips and club-record signing Rodrigo are still recovering from calf and groin problems respectively so will again miss out, as does Ian Poveda, who has suffered an ankle injury while on under-23s duty earlier this month.

Robin Koch continues his recovery from the knee surgery he underwent in December, while long-term absentees Gaetano Berardi and Adam Forshaw are also still working their way back to fitness.

Diego Llorente returned to Leeds' matchday squad last time out at Molineux, with the injury-hit Spaniard an unused substitute for the 1-0 defeat at Wolves.

That means that the matchday squad will again be topped up with players from Mark Jackson's under-23s squad, as they are not in action this week.

The likes of Joe Gelhardt, Jack Jenkins and Niall Huggins have been regulars on the bench in recent weeks and will be in contention for the 20-man squad alongside fellow youngsters such as Charlie Cresswell and Oliver Casey.

Southampton make the trip to West Yorkshire having ended a six-match losing street at the weekend when they held Chelsea to a draw and currently sit 13th in the table, one place and two points behind Leeds.

Full Leeds United squad: Illan Meslier, Luke Ayling, Liam Cooper, Patrick Bamford, Ezgjan Alioski, Tyler Roberts, Kiko Casilla, Diego Llorente, Stuart Dallas, Helder Costa, Raphinha, Pablo Hernandez, Pascal Struijk, Jack Harrison, Leif Davis, Joe Gelhardt, Charlie Cresswell, Mateusz Klich, Jamie Shackleton, Jack Jenkins, Oliver Casey, Niall Huggins
