Full Leeds United squad revealed for Hull City as Marcelo Bielsa responds to Kiko Casilla ban

The Football Association finally reached a decision on Kiko Casilla's allegations of racism last night and immediately banned the goalkeeper for eight matches.

The Spanish stopper travelled with the squad to Hull ahead of this afternoon's match yesterday, but will not be in the 18 at KCOM Stadium.

Illan Meslier is expected to start between the sticks, while January recruit Elia Caprile should be named on the bench for the first time. The Italian travelled with the senior squad on Wednesday evening to Middlesbrough.

Leeds United face a quick turnaround of less than 72 hours between their last match against Middlesbrough and their next outing at Hull City, but Marcelo Bielsa is blessed with a depth of options.

The trip to Teesside didn’t appear to throw up any new injury concerns for the head coach, with everyone that featured Wednesday evening’s 1-0 victory appearing to get through the game without suffering any knocks or set-backs.

Bielsa did confirm January recruit Jean-Kevin Augustin had suffered a hamstring injury and would be unavailable for Hull City, while he could provide no update on whether Kalvin Phillips would be ready for selection after failing a late test following his knock against Reading last Saturday.

Of the senior players, that leaves only Casilla, Augustin and Adam Forshaw as the confirmed absentees on Saturday. Forshaw underwent an operation on his hip earlier this month and will miss the remainder of the season.

In terms of under-23s regulars, Ryan Edmondson will remain out of contention for several weeks yet, while Leif Davis should be stepping up his recovery following knee surgery a month ago.

Here’s everyone in the Leeds United squad that could be available for Saturday’s match against Hull.

Full Leeds United squad: Illan Meslier, Luke Ayling, Barry Douglas, Ben White, Liam Cooper, Patrick Bamford, Ezgjan Alioski, Tyler Roberts, Stuart Dallas, Helder Costa, Pablo Hernandez, Jack Harrison, Kalvin Phillips, Gaetano Berardi, Mateusz Klich, Jamie Shackleton, Jordan Stevens, Oliver Casey, Elia Caprile.
