Raphinha is the late call Leeds United head coach Marcelo Bielsa must make in London this morning as they weigh up the risk of playing him at Crystal Palace.
Adam Forshaw, Diego Llorente, Rodrigo and Kalvin Phillips will not be with the squad in the capital today, leaving Bielsa with a solid group of 19 to play with.
The noises for Raphinha were positive on Thursday afternoon, but should he not be included, Bielsa’s matchday 18 will pick itself.
Pascal Struijk, Leif Davis and Oliver Casey have all dabbled with the under-23s regularly in the past, but they were all conspicuous by their absence in yesterday’s Premier League 2 match.
Changes to the first team remain up in the air, but Bielsa’s final selection of 18 for Selhurst Park should be quite straightforward.
Full Leeds United squad: Illan Meslier, Luke Ayling, Robin Koch, Liam Cooper, Ian Poveda, Patrick Bamford, Ezgjan Alioski, Tyler Roberts, Kiko Casilla, Stuart Dallas, Helder Costa, Raphinha, Pablo Hernandez, Pascal Struijk, Jack Harrison, Leif Davis, Mateusz Klich, Jamie Shackleton, Oliver Casey.
