Leeds United are in London today ahead of tonight’s clash with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge and there are questions in the air around the squad Marcelo Bielsa has at his disposal.
Unusually, Bielsa was not directly asked about general team news going into Sunday’s game. Diego Llorente was the only player asked about by name.
The official condition of Jamie Shackleton and Pablo Hernandez remains up in the air although the latter did feature in the training video the club released yesterday.
Robin Koch and Kiko Casilla were the two senior players missing from said video without explanation. Adam Forshaw and Shackleton, known injury doubts, were the others absent.
It remains to be seen whether Koch or Casilla have injury issues going into the Premier League match tonight, but there is some good news either way.
Llorente is healthy and was in full training this week, but if Bielsa can avoid playing him in the first team he will, given how little action he has seen since signing.
Full Leeds United squad: Illan Meslier, Luke Ayling, Robin Koch, Liam Cooper, Ian Poveda, Patrick Bamford, Ezgjan Alioski, Tyler Roberts, Kiko Casilla, Diego Llorente, Stuart Dallas, Helder Costa, Raphinha, Rodrigo, Pascal Struijk, Jack Harrison, Kalvin Phillips, Leif Davis, Mateusz Klich, Oliver Casey.
