Northern Ireland is set to be battered by Storm Aiden, with weather forecasters predicting a very wet weekend.
The latest forecast from the Met Office predicts rain for much of the weekend throughout the country.
The warning is in place from 6am on Halloween day to 9pm that night and will see gusts of up to 60-65mph and 70mph around coastal areas and hills.
A Met Office spokesperson said: "Occasionally heavy and persistent rain will clear from the west through the morning with sunny spells and occasional showers following for the afternoon. Maximum temperatures of 15C."
For Sunday and beyond, the Met office added: "Overnight rain soon clearing Sunday then sunny spells before some evening rain, windy.
"Further showers or longer spells of rain Monday, winds easing."
What to expect
- Some delays to road, rail, air and ferry transport are likely.
- Probably some bus and train services affected, with some journeys taking longer.
- Delays for high-sided vehicles on exposed routes and bridges likely.
Some short term loss of power and other services is possible.
Meanwhile, the public has been encouraged not to engage in Trick or Treating this Halloween.
The Public Health Agency warned against the annual event, saying it was "not safe" due to coronavirus.
Dr Gerry Waldron said: "Face-to-face interactions with older and vulnerable neighbours could also put them at risk.
"We want people to have fun but to not become complacent or risk the health of themselves and others by going against guidelines or regulations."
