The Pittsburgh Steelers are finalizing a trade to bring rising star defensive back Minkah Fitzpatrick to the Steelers. NFL reporter Ian Rapoport has the full details of the trade which involves multiple picks by both teams.
Despite all the window dressing, this trade is essentially Fitzpatrick for the Steelers first-round pick. This says the Steelers not only haven’t given up on the 2019 season despite losing Ben Roethlisberger, but they also have enough confidence going forward in Mason Rudolph at quarterback they are willing to trade away what could end up being a Top 10 NFL draft pick.
No terms of the trade have been reported by either team at this time.
