Full details as Everton to introduce Megafon branding on Goodison Park exterior

Everton have announced that work is beginning this week to introduce new branding to the outside of Goodison Park.

Supporters heading to the famous stadium in the future will see two fixed lighting signs for Alisher Usmanov's company Megafon on two towers on the Park End, overlooking Goodison Road and Walton Lane.

The Blues signed an expanded deal with USM Holdings in July 2019 which saw them become the club's Official Matchday Presenting Partner, which saw an increased presence at Goodison for many companies in the group.

This week's announcement forms part of that deal, and will not mean any extra money is being paid to Everton.

The signage will be white, creating a slick, modern aesthetic, and will feature a cut-out version of the MegaFon logo.

USM Holdings initially signed a five-year deal as a Principal Partner with Everton back in 2017, which gave them the naming rights for the Blues' Finch Farm training complex.

Last month, at the club's general meeting, it was also confirmed that USM had secured a £30m option on naming rights for Everton's proposed Bramley-Moore dock stadium.
