Chelsea can bounce back from their Carabao Cup exit when they face Crystal Palace this afternoon.
It's been a mixed start to the new season for the west London outfit.
After beating Brighton and Hove Albion they were beaten 2-0 at home by Liverpool and needed a second half comeback to earn a point against West Brom last weekend.
Either side of the last Premier League game the Blues have thrashed Barnsley 6-0 in the Carabao Cup third round, only to crash out of the competition on penalties against Tottenham Hotspur earlier in the week.
But they now have the chance to avoid going three games without a win across all competitions when they host a Palace side that has already beaten Manchester United on their travels this season.
The Blues will go into the game at Stamford Bridge with the knowledge that Christian Pulisic is back in the squad following injury, but head coach Frank Lampard has confirmed Hakim Ziyech is still unavailable.
"Pulisic is in the squad tomorrow," Lampard revealed in his pre-match press conference. "He won't start the match because of the injury he has had and it has been a difficult injury.
"I am very keen to get him back in there so it is great to have him back, he is an important player for us.
"Hakim Ziyech is getting closer but not quite fit enough to be on the bench."
In addition to Ziyech, for this afternoon's clash against the Eagles, the Blues will be without two other first-team players as wonderkid Billy Gilmour and forgotten midfielder Marco van Ginkel miss out through injury.
Meanwhile, £22m summer signing Edouard Mendy is in line to make his Premier League debut after getting a run-out against Spurs during the week.
Thiago Silva and Kai Havertz could return to the starting XI after being rested on Tuesday, and with that in mind, Lampard has plenty of options to choose from.
