Full Arsenal squad to face Rapid Wien confirmed as Mikel Arteta provides David Luiz latest

Arsenal are gearing up for a Europa League clash with Austria Wien on this evening.

The Gunners are already through to the knockout stage of the competition and anything other than a two-or-more goal defeat will be enough for them to win their group on Thursday.

With qualification in the bag and a North London derby with Tottenham on Sunday, Mikel Arteta may be tempted to shuffle his pack, but he could also take the opportunity to get some confidence into his men following a poor start to the Premier League season.

The Gunners were beaten by Wolves on the weekend and they could do with a win as they head into that Spurs clash, though Arteta will be without some key players.

David Luiz is not likely to be ready to play after that nasty collision on the weekend, Arteta hoping he will recover in time to face Spurs. The Spaniard said in Wednesday's press conference: "I think he will be fit to play if the scar is healing properly and he's comfortable heading the ball there shouldn't be any problems."

The Gunners will also be without Thomas Partey. Providing an update on the midfielder Arteta added: "We don't know again, he is really pushing every day and he's trying to get around the doctor and the physios.

"But he hasn't trained with the team yet so let's see this week if he can get a session or two and then assess him, we need to scan him again so we can see the extent of the injury and how it's healed.

"I know if it's up to Thomas then he wants to play tomorrow. We have to see medically that he is safe to participate at all."

Arsenal will also be without Calum Chambers, who continues to work his way back from a serious knee injury.
