Full Arsenal squad revealed for Premier League opener against Fulham

The wait is finally over.

Arsenal  start their 2020/21 Premier League campaign when they travel to Craven Cottage to take on Fulham in the lunch time kick-off.

After victory over Chelsea in the FA Cup final and then a penalty shootout win over Liverpool in the Community Shield to begin their pre-season, Mikel Arteta will be hoping to continue the momentum and get the Gunners' season off to the perfect start.

They face Scott Parker's Fulham side, who were promoted back to the Premier League after winning the Championship play-off final against Brentford.

With some of his stars unavailable for the game, notably in defence, Arteta may be forced to reshuffle his back line and give full top flight debuts to several of Arsenal's new signings.

David Luiz and Sokratis will both miss the game, as well will Calum Chambers and Shkodran Mustafi, who are both nursing long-term injuries.

This may mean William Saliba is paired alongside Rob Holding, with Gabriel Magalhaes perhaps lacking match fitness.

In midfield, Dani Ceballos' return gives Arteta options, as does the end of Mesut Ozil and Matteo Guendouzi's exile from the first team set-up, with both players back training with the squad.

Willian could be handed his debut in attack, whilst Gabriel Martinell is still missing with a knee injury.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is set to start and captain the side, but it understood that Emi Martinez is not included in the squad, as the Argentinian continues to discuss a move away from the Emirates, with talks underway with Aston Villa and Brighton.
