Arsenal will be looking to continue their FA Cup defence by booking a place in the fifth round at Southampton's expense.
A fortnight ago, the Gunners needed extra-time in round three to finally overcome Newcastle United at home and set up an all-Premier League tie at St Mary's this afternoon.
Emile Smith Rowe and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang were on target that night and the pair were in excellent form on Monday as Arsenal once again beat the Magpies to climb into the top half of the table.
But can the north London outfit keep their recent revival going against a side that beat Liverpool at the beginning of the month and have impressed under Ralph Hasenhüttl this season?
It's actually the first of two games for the Gunners against the Saints as they will be back on the south coast on Tuesday night for a hugely important Premier League meeting.
But manager Mikel Arteta is taking one game at a time and has promised to name a strong squad for the cup tie.
"As strong as it can be," he told reporters in his pre-match press conference on Thursday. "We will assess the players who is fit to play, who is recovered.
"We had a few issues as well after the game, so in the next two days we will see the best possible line up to beat Southampton. We’re going to be playing them twice in three days which is strange.
"We will try to keep the FA Cup run going as well."
For this afternoon's game, Arteta will be without just two first-team players as Pablo Mari misses out through injury, while Mesut Ozil is still finalising his move to Fenerbahce.
Although, new signing Mat Ryan is eligible to make his Arsenal debut after completing his loan move from Brighton and Hove Albion before the player registration deadline.
Dani Ceballos missed Monday night's win over Newcastle with a tight calf and faces a late fitness test.
With that in mind, Arteta has no shortage of options as he should have a near full-strength squad to choose from with no other fresh injury concerns.
