Full Arsenal squad for Brighton clash revealed as Mikel Arteta handed major injury boost

Arsenal are preparing for their remaining three fixtures of the Premier League as they move closer to learning their fate for the season. At this stage, the title is very much out of their hands, with Manchester City holding a one point lead and one game in hand over the Gunners.

It means the north London outfit need City to slip up in two of their remaining four games left, which is still possible, albeit slightly unlikely. All Mikel Arteta and his squad can do is keep winning games and hope that other teams are able to cause troubles for the current champions.

"For sure, because they are a really complicated side," Arteta responded when asked if the Brighton game will be tough. "The way they are playing and what Roberto [De Zerbi] and the coaching staff has done is remarkable. It’s just a joy to watch them play. What he’s brought to the league is a different idea and a different challenge for managers.

"This is what we want. If you want to be the best league you have to have the best managers, the best players and what he’s done with the team after all the foundations that Graham [Potter] left as well, it’s incredible. It’s a very tough match."

While it's likely to be a battling match-up, Arteta does appear to be boosted by a potential injury return before the clash. Oleksandr Zinchenko was reported to be out for the season through injury, having been substituted against Newcastle late into the second half of the victory.

However, in a shocking turn, the Ukraine international was spotted in training this week in the lead up to the match ahead, coming as a huge boost.

Goalkeepers: Aaron Ramsdale, Matt Turner, Karl Hein.

Defenders: Ben White, Gabriel Magalhaes, Rob Holding, Kieran Tierney, Oleksandr Zinchenko (doubt), Lino Sousa, Jakub Kiwior.

Midfielders: Granit Xhaka, Thomas Partey, Jorginho, Martin Odegaard, Fabio Vieira, Emile Smith Rowe, Matt Smith, Amario Cozier-Duberry, Ethan Nwaneri.

Forwards: Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli, Eddie Nketiah, Leandro Trossard, Reiss Nelson, Gabriel Jesus.
