The NCAA men's baseball tournament is upon us as the road to Omaha for the College World Series begins on May 30 with the NCAA regionals round.
Here's everything you need to know about the regionals, including format, locations and game times that have been released.
NCAA Baseball Regionals Format
The NCAA Baseball regionals begin on May 30 at 16 different sites across the country. The top 16 seeds in the bracket were each awarded a regional site where they can play home tournament games in the first weekend of action.
Each of the 16 regions have four teams each, and it is a double-elimination format. The teams play round-robin style, and once a team loses twice, they're out of the NCAA tournament. The winner of each region advances to the Super Regional round, which is a best-of-three series hosted at the home stadium of the top eight remaining seeds in the tournament.
