Oil & gas services specialist Fulkrum Technical Resources (FTR) has acquired Oceaneering’s Aberdeen-based third party inspection division.
Senior inspection coordinator Kelly McKimmie and senior inspector/technical advisor Mike Christie have joined FTR's Aberdeen team, bringing nearly 65 years of experience between them.
FTR will now provide third party inspection services, including temporary equipment inspection, to offshore operators including Chrysaor and Oceaneering.
Financial details of the transaction have not been disclosed.

FTR, which sources specialist inspection personnel for clients in the UK, mainland Europe and Africa, opened its Aberdeen office in 2018.
