Fulham vs Man Utd
Premier League 2018-19
Venue: Craven Cottage
Date: Sunday, February 9, 2019
Kick-off: 12:30pm GMT
Manchester United continue their Premier League top-four chase as they head to relegation-threatened Fulham on Saturday afternoon.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has secured nine wins and one draw from his opening 10 games as United's caretaker manager, with the Red Devils now just two points off fourth-placed Chelsea.
Momentum is with United ahead of a huge February packed with tough fixtures, and Solskjaer's side will relish facing a Fulham outfit who sit seven points off safety having conceded 55 goals in 25 games.
Fulham vs Man Utd team news and predicted line-ups
Andre Schurrle is a doubt with a knock, while Cyrus Christie is unlikely to feature.
Marcus Bettinelli and Alfie Mawson are also both out of action for Claudio Ranieri's hosts.
Fulham XI: Rico; Odoi, Le Marchand, Ream; Sessegnon, Chambers, Seri, Bryan; Cairney, Mitrovic, Babel
Solskjaer could be tempted to rest a few key players with a Champions League clash against PSG on February 12.
That could see the likes of Romelu Lukaku, Diogo Dalot, Fred and Chris Smalling afforded starts, while Marcus Rashford may be rested after picking up a dead leg at Leicester.
The only other injury concern for United is Marcos Rojo, who is back outside running as he continues his comeback.
Man Utd XI: De Gea, Dalot, Lindelof, Smalling, Shaw, Fred, Matic, Pogba, Lingard, Lukaku, Martial
Score prediction: Fulham 1-4 Man Utd
Fulham impressed in their last home game, coming back from conceding two early goals to beat Brighton 4-2. However, Man Utd are unlikely to be as forgiving as the Seagulls were in the second half.
Claudio Ranieri's best bet would be to sit deep and let United see plenty of the ball - as Burnley did in their 2-2 draw at Old Trafford - rather than let the visitors find space in behind on the counter.
If United are on form in front of goal though, it could well be a repeat of December's 4-1 victory at Old Trafford.
