Fulham vs Liverpool confirmed line ups as Mario Lemina starts and Aleksandar Mitrovic absent

Scott Parker has made one change to the side that lost to Manchester City.

Harrison Reed drops to the bench as Mario Lemina returns to the starting XI. Otherwise it looks to be a similar set up as Parker has utilised against City and Leicester with Bobby De Cordova-Reid's versatility allowing the side to switch between four and five at the back.

Aleksandar Mitrovic has struggled for minutes since the international break and he drops out of the squad completely. Parker noted after defeat to Manchester City that this was a tactical choice, but the Serbian still had a place on the bench.

He said: "(There’s) no injury, just purely how I saw the game today and what was best suited for the team, in terms of starting and then personnel coming on.

"Just the dynamics I felt we needed for today’s game to try to cause them problems and get a result. There’ll be many discussions, no doubt around Aleks, but he’s got a big part to play for us this year, like he did last year.”

However, it is believed that Mitrovic picked up a minor knock in training ahead of today's clash.

Trent Alexander-Arnold returns for Liverpool in place of Neco Williams but the bigger frustration for the Reds will be the news that Diogo Jota could be out for eight weeks.

Fulham XI: Areola, Aina, Andersen, Adarabioyo, De Cordova-Reid, Robinson, Lemina, Anguissa, Loftus-Cheek, Cavaleiro, Lookman

Liverpool XI: Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Fabinho, Robertson, Wijnaldum, Henderson, Jones, Mane, Salah, Firmino
