Fulham vow to hand lifetime bans to any supporter found to have racially abused Cyrus Christie's sister

Fulham have vowed to issue a lifetime ban to any supporter who racially abused the sister of defender Cyrus Christie.

Christie accused a Fulham fan and his wife of hitting and racially abusing his sister in the away end after the club’s 1-0 defeat against Barnsley at Oakwell on Saturday.

Fulham are investigating and South Yorkshire Police have been in contact with the club as they try to track down the two supporters involved in the alleged incident.

Fulham said: “Fulham Football Club is investigating an incident which took place in the away end at the Barnsley v Fulham fixture.

"Should the perpetrators be identified, the club will be taking the strongest possible action.”

The alleged incident is understood to have taken place after the fan directed frustration at Fulham midfielder Aboubakar Kamara as the players left the pitch.

Meanwhile, Fulham manager Scott Parker hopes to seal the signing of his brother-in-law Harry Arter on loan from Bournemouth this week.
