Fulham transfer blow and Stefan Johansen to QPR latest

It has been clear for a while that Fulham need more threat on goal from attacking positions but it appears that Scott Parker will have to find the answer from within his own squad.

The Whites had been touted to sign a forward and Parker had hoped to improve a few areas going into the transfer window with Aleksandar Mitrovic struggling to work his way into the starting XI througout the season.

The Cottagers' lack of depth was laid out for all to see as they fell to a 3-0 defeat to Burnley in the FA Cup Fourth Round tie.

Speaking after the match, Parker revealed it seems unlikely they will be signing anyone to help out but the likes of Jean-Michel Seri and Stefan Johansen could find new clubs.

He said: "There may be an opportunity for them players to play some football. There is a possibility of players leaving the football club.

"Regarding players coming in, that stays the same. I'm not sure that is going to happen. We'll keep going and working with the players we have."

Norwegian international Johansen has been closely linked with a move across west London to local rivals QPR. Parker didn't have specifics, but seemed to suggest that could happen imminently.

"It seems like there is some talk. Last two days I've been with team, preparing for the game sp I'm not really up to speed. That may be a possibility."
