Fulham's injury list ahead of Leeds United clash with trio set to miss out

Leeds United have already been dealt an injury boost ahead of their trip to Fulham - but Scott Parker has had no such fortune ahead of the Friday night clash (8pm).

A victory for the relegation-threatened Cottagers would see them leapfrog Newcastle United, who are in Premier League action 24 hours later against Brighton at the Amex Stadium.

However, whatever the result at Craven Cottage is, they will have played two more games than most of the sides around them come full-time.

For Leeds, striker Patrick Bamford - surprisingly omitted from the England squad this afternoon - has recovered from a knock that he picked up against former club Chelsea.

As for Fulham, though, they remain without the services of three players ahead of kick-off against Leeds. Here is the latest state of play with injuries in West London.

Marcelo Bielsa discusses Rodrigo Moreno's season

Tom Cairney

Injury: Knee (vs Newcastle on December 19)

Expected return date: TBC

What Parker has said: "It's literally week by week and sometimes day by day. It's trying to manage the pain when we can. It's proving to be a tricky one at the moment. He's doing all he can. We've gone and seen some people and got some specialist reports and there's a new way we're going to go in the next 10 days and hopefully this will help get him on the right track."

Kevin McDonald

Injury: Kidney

Expected return date: Next season

What Parker has said: "(There was) limited game time last year for Kev and at his stage and, where he was in his career, had to bring something very different to the team. He did that. Wish him all the best that he comes through this next challenge presented to him, which he will, no doubt and then work out the plan moving forward."

Marek Rodak

Injury: Finger (in training)

Possible return date: April 3 (vs Aston Villa)

What Parker has said: "He's struggling a little bit with a finger injury. He picked it up in training. He's going to see a specialist and we'll have a clearer picture then."
