Fulham must accept their situation but I don't need to change anything, says Slavisa Jokanovic

Slavisa Jokanovic says he does not need to change anything in his pursuit to turn Fulham’s fortunes around.

The Serbian has been criticised for his all-out-attack approach following promotion, which has seen his side ship 29 goals in 11 games so far this season.

Jokanovic admitted that ahead of their 3-0 home defeat to Bournemouth he had tried to tighten things up but it had not worked.

Now, though, the under-fire boss says they must stick to their principles and find the brave people at the club.

"I don’t need to change anything, my mentality is always the same, I want to push my team and find the brave people around me,” he said ahead of their trip to Liverpool this weekend.

"We must know where we are and accept this situation and go outside our comfort zone, because this situation didn’t bring us enough good results.

"We must shake our hands, push harder, be more competitive, I don’t believe this is impossible.

"Behind us is a long two and a half years, or for Fulham, four years in the Championship, to give up after a few months, I will repeat, battle will be tough, we will be strong, it’s the start of the battle, we didn’t show enough power or weapons and we must change this.

"We must make people around us proud, when we lose people can go home satisfied but right now we're not offering that."
