Fulham: Marco Silva issues Harry Wilson and Joachim Andersen latest amid double injury concern

Fulham boss Marco Silva has issued an update on Harry Wilson and Joachim Andersen ahead of his side’s clash with West Ham on Wednesday.

Wilson, the Cottagers’ in-form winger, was forced off with an ankle injury in the 2-1 win over Tottenham at the weekend.

The Welshman struck the opener at Craven Cottage as Spurs sank to a second straight defeat under interim head coach Igor Tudor.

The victory took Fulham up to 9th in the Premier League table, with the west Londoners’ European challenge still alive as they sit five points off sixth-placed Chelsea.

Andersen, meanwhile, missed out on the Tottenham game completely through illness, but Silva offered a positive update on the central defender.

"Joachim Andersen will be back in, 100 per cent sure,” the Portuguese said.

Harry Wilson is one of the players we have to keep assessing. Let's see."

Wilson has been Fulham’s most prolific goalscorer this term, netting nine times in 27 appearances, adding six assists.

The forward’s contract expires at the end of the current campaign, and rumours are swirling about where he might end up.

Silva has been outspoken on his preference to keep his top performer, who has amassed reported interest from the likes of Aston Villa and Everton, who failed with a late swoop for him at the end of the January transfer window.

The Cottagers face West Ham on Wednesday before a home FA Cup tie against Southampton at the weekend.

A trip to Nottingham Forest follows, before a home clash against Burnley rounds off the month.
