Fulham loanee Bobby Reid aiming to kick on after ending long goal drought

Bobby Reid is eager to help Fulham steal a march on their promotion rivals when they play Swansea on Friday night, after finally ending his four-month scoring drought.

The forward, who is on loan from Cardiff, opened his Fulham account in Tuesday’s 3-0 win against Derby, having failed to score in his previous 17 matches.

That victory lifted Fulham up to third in the Championship and they can move two points off the automatic promotion places with another win on Friday night.

Reid said: “It has been a long time coming. The fans have been unbelievable, egging me on to get that first goal, so that was for them.

"Hopefully I can continue to score a few more."

Reid, who came off against Derby, and fellow striker Aboubakar Kamara, who scored a brace in last Friday's win over west London rivals QPR, both face late fitness tests ahead of the trip to south Wales.
