Fulham have identified Dwight Gayle and Britt Assombalonga as possible replacements for Aleksandar Mitrovic if the Serb leaves Craven Cottage.
Mitrovic is expected to exit Fulham this summer following their relegation from the Premier League, with West Ham and Crystal Palace both interested in a move for him.
Fulham believe Newcastle forward Gayle and Middlesbrough frontman Assombalonga could score the goals to fire them to promotion in the Championship next season.
The Cottagers could hold out for at least £30million for Mitrovic and new manager Scott Parker would have funds to reinvest in the squad.
Gayle, 28, scored 24 goals on loan at West Brom in the Championship this season. Newcastle want £20m for former Crystal Palace striker.
Assombalonga, 26, found the net 14 times this season for Middlesbrough, who want to recoup the £15m they paid Nottingham Forest for him in 2017.
