Fulham boss Marco Silva delivers injury update ahead of Nottingham Forest clash

Fulham head coach Marco Silva has delivered an injury update after midfielder Harrison Reed suffered a calf injury during the 2-0 win over Cardiff City on Wednesday evening.

The Cottagers added to their second successive home win against the Bluebirds before the visit to the City Ground on Sunday.

Heading into the encounter, Forest will be hoping to extend their winning streak to five games in a row after a late dramatic turnaround at Ashton Gate to win 2-1.

Whether Silva will be without the experienced midfielder on Sunday is yet to be confirmed.

"I am waiting on the feedback of the medical staff about the calf," Silva told West London Sport after the Cardiff win. "I don't think it's serious but we will have to wait and see what the scans say."

Reed missed the start of the season with a similar injury which saw him out of action for a short period.

His presence in midfield has been key for the West London side thus far, who sit in second place in the Championship, five points behind top-of-the-table Bournemouth.

The game is scheduled for a 3pm kick-off on Sunday, October 24.
