A paedophile who moved out of Merseyside without telling police before going on the run for five years is back behind bars.
Christopher Spelman, originally from Kirkby, was sentenced to seven years prison on March 6, 2014 after being convicted of indecent assault.
He was released on licence in December 2016, but then moved to Cheshire without telling police, breaking the terms of his release, reports CheshireLive.

When he was recalled to prison he went on the run for five years and is thought to have camped outdoors.
Merseyside Police launched numerous appeals to find Spelman, warning the public he may have grown a full beard and was known to have camped outdoors.
Officers also believe he could have spent time in Dorset during his years on the run.
But after a tip off from the public, Spelman was arrested by Kent Police in Folkestone, Kent, on Tuesday morning (January 4) and has been sent back to prison.
Chief Inspector Paul Sutcliffe of Merseyside Police said: “Thanks to the hard work and commitment of the fugitive team Spelman has been located and returned to prison.
“Time is no barrier and we will leave no stone unturned to find people who are wanted – either in connection with ongoing investigations or when they have their licence revoked.”
