Police today turned to the public in a bid to put a female fugitive back behind bars.
Anyone who spots on the run Adele McCarten from Everton is urged to call the police immediately.
Detectives want the 32-year-old to be put back in prison, known as a recall, but she cannot be found.
A police spokesman said the force's fugitive team is leading the hunt and added: "McCarten recently breached the conditions of her licence after her release from prison. She was originally sentenced for burglary."
She is white, 5ft 3in tall of slim build, with long straight black hair, and speaks with a Liverpool accent.
McCarten also has links to Leeds, West Yorkshire.
McCarten was jailed last year after she sneaked into the home of a vulnerable woman with cancer and stole from her bedroom.
The mum-of-one was jailed her for nine months and given 12 months of post-sentence licence and supervision.
Following her arrest officers took the mum-of-one to Royal Liverpool Hospital after discovering her legs were covered in ulcers.
While at hospital she asked could she use the toilet and in a failed bid to escape, she climbed on top of the toilet removed roof tiles and went in the roofspace.
The court heard how she then rummaged around and fell through the roof back down into the gents toilets, where she was found.
McCarten, admitted burglary, escape from lawful custody and criminal damage.
