A fugitive has been hailed as the UK's answer to 'hot felon' Jeremy Meeks after admirers hijacked a search appeal saying they were looking for him too.
Police are trying to track down Jonathan Cahill, 37 - urgently wanted on prison recall.
They went public with a mug shot, telling people to keep a look out for the crook who is due back inside and it quickly attracted 7,000 comments.
However, none of them were too helpful with most responses coming from smitten women saying they also want to find him as they vowed to join the hunt.
Cahill was released from prison last September after serving part of a sentence for burglary.
West Yorkshire Police believe he has breached the terms of his release and has now been recalled to prison.
The reaction led to comparisons to American fugitive Jeremy Meeks, who was dubbed 'the world's hottest felon' and landed a modelling contract on his release from prison.
He was arrested for possessing a gun and jailed for 27 months in February 2015 after admitting the charge.
Brits have reacted the same way and many clearly want to catch him before police do.
One response read: "I hope he's not out in the cold. I have a spare room if he wants Oh and a pair of handcuffs."
Another teased cops: : "Leave it with me, I'll find him".
A third wrote: "If I find him he'll be begging the police to take him! 58-year-old in a powerchair last seen on m62 chasing wanted fellon!"
The comments kept on coming.
Another put: "Christ almighty. he can hide under my bed" while one loved-up lady joked: "He'll be asking for police protection soon enough when he sees this."
A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police said: "Officers are continuing enquiries to locate Cahill, who is described as being of medium build and approximately six feet tall.
"He is believed to be currently residing in Wakefield."
