A man and two women have already been locked up after the victim was attacked in Simon's Croft, Netherton, on November 28, 2015.

Almost five years on, Kamil Lesiak, now 24, of no fixed address but formerly of Kensington, has been charged with rape, false imprisonment, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, and causing a man to engage in penetrative sexual activity without consent.

Lesiak was due to appear at Liverpool Magistrates' Court on April 8 and failed to attend, leading to the case being adjourned several times until he was arrested at 10.40am today at a property in Argyle Road, Anfield.
