The readership of the Financial Times has dropped by 28% over the past year, according to the latest National Readership Survey figures. Red-top papers also suffered, with the Daily Mirror's readership falling by 14%. The Daily Express and Daily Star, are also down 17% and 15% respectively. But their owner, Richard Desmond, can take some comfort from the performance of his OK! magazine. It added 9% to its readership while its rival Hello! dropped by 11%. (Via MediaGuardian.co.uk)
