Jimbo Fisher declined to provide further comment on LSU coaching job rumors for the second straight week.
When asked if recruits call to inquire about the chatter, Fisher said Monday:
"I'm always going to be up front. Again, I'm not going to comment on those things. I'm very up front to those guys, very personal, and would never do anything to tell them that. I'm very direct about what's going on.
"Again, I say that and I'm extremely happy at Florida State. ... I'll always be honest."
Fisher, who hopes to lead Florida State to its fourth straight win against rival Florida on Saturday, is reportedly the top candidate for the LSU job.
LSU is expected to make an "aggressive run" at Fisher beginning Saturday night, according to a Sunday report from The Advocate in Baton Rouge (La.).
Fisher declined to provide further comment when asked if players ask or if he has addressed the Seminoles about the rumors.
Fisher has expressed his affinity for FSU multiple times in the last two weeks as the rumor mill has heated up about the LSU job. He has been a candidate for the position since last season.
