Roy Keane sends out ominous warning over Trent Alexander-Arnold
Ex-Manchester United captain Roy Keane praised Liverpool right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold after he recorded three assists in England’s 10-0 win over San Marino.
After Tuesday night’s game, Keane compared the Liverpool man to his former teammate David Beckham.
Keane told ITV Sport: “Not a bad night for him considering he has got what, three or four assists tonight
“Sometimes players do try too hard. We have seen that with one of the two younger players.
“But he got back to what he’s good at. Putting it in the right areas.
“Delivery. Fantastic – he talks about Beckham. He used to put it into areas.”
Keane went on to say that Alexander-Arnold can still improve.
Liverpool owners FSG 'on verge' of purchasing new team
Liverpool owners Fenway Sports Group are reportedly close to purchasing a controlling stake in American ice hockey team, Pittsburgh Penguins.
Providing talks do not break down, an agreement could be reached later this week according to the Wall Street Journal.
The full cost of this investment is yet to be formally announced, but the Penguins were valued at $845 million by Sportico.
This move may well have been made possible by the £533 million stake purchased in FSG by RedBird Capital Partners back in March.
