Nat Phillips future hint
Jurgen Klopp has hinted that Nat Phillips' long-term Liverpool future will be assessed this summer.
The Reds defender has enjoyed a season to remember in the first-team, making 19 appearances in total to cover for a raft of major injuries to the likes of Virgil van Dijk, Joel Matip and Joe Gomez.
Phillips scored his first senior goal in the 3-0 win over Burnley on Wednesday night and cleared one off the line as Liverpool took a big step towards qualification to the Champions League at Turf Moor.
The victory moved the Reds up to fourth in the Premier League ahead of Leicester on goal difference.
In the absence of January signings Ben Davies and Ozan Kabak, Phillips has performed as the senior member of the centre-back partnership alongside 20-year-old Rhys Williams.
And Klopp has called for focus ahead of Sunday's visit from Crystal Palace as he suggested the Bolton-born defender's position will be looked at in some fashion during the pre-season period.

Liverpool announce boardroom changes
Liverpool have announced a new Supporters Board that they say "will deliver meaningful fan representation" at boardroom level.
The club's owners, Fenway Sports Group, came in for fierce criticism last month for their role in attempting to move Liverpool into the Super League as one of the 12 'Founding Members'.
The breakaway plans lasted around 48 hours before the half-dozen Premier League teams involved performed sharp U-turns due to the backlash of proposals that aimed to ring-fence participation in the European competition every year, regardless of domestic performance.
As a result of the criticism, fan groups called for more dialogue with supporters going forward, something the club have been keen to do since principal owner John W Henry released a public apology via video on April 21.
Liverpool supporter trust, Spirit of Shankly, have been in discussions with the Reds' CEO, Billy Hogan, over the past couple of weeks in an attempt to reach a compromise about greater representation at boardroom level for fans who follow the club.
And the club have now announced that the Supporters Board will be launched ahead of the new Premier League season in August.
The idea is to have more input from fans on major strategic decisions that will directly impact them as Liverpool aim to present a new way of engaging with their worldwide following through structured dialogue.
After meeting with SOS, Liverpool CEO Hogan said the feedback has been "invaluable" to the new initiative.
