FSA issues urgent product recall for Sainsbury's supermarket products

The Food Standards Agency has issued an urgent product recall for an umber of different Sainsbury's product.

Items that have been recalled by the supermarket chain include Sainsbury’s 10 Vegetable Gyoza with a soy and ginger dip, Sainsbury’s Green Pesto, Sainsbury’s Lighter Green Pesto, Sainsbury’s Chilli Pesto, Sainsbury’s Red Pesto and Sainsbury’s Spinach & Ricotta Pesto.

They have been recalled due to allergy fears. People can return the items for a full refund.

Below is the full list of products and the details of the Sainsbury's items that have been recalled.

Action taken by the company

Sainsbury’s is recalling the above product from customers and has contacted the relevant allergy support organisations, which will tell their members about the recall. The company has also issued a point-of-sale notice to its customers. These notices explain to customers why the product is being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought the product.
