Former Newcastle United boss Rafa Benitez is reported to be considering a return from China.
Benitez left the Magpies at the end of his contract last summer, before taking up a lucrative new job as manager of Chinese Super League side Dalian Pro.
However, things have not been going quite to plan for the Spaniard, it would seem.
Dalian are facing a battle to avoid relegation and the ongoing coronavirus pandemic has not helped matters.
The Independent reports that Benitez is becoming increasingly frustrated in China and "dreams of competing at the top level once again have him contemplating a return".
The former Liverpool chief is said to be earning an eye-watering salary of more than £1million per month.
Despite this, the article states: "When his contract is finished in China at the end of next year, he will be looking for a position in Europe with a club that is capable of winning silverware."
The reports adds that the 60-year-old believes he can continue as a manager for at least another decade.
Benitez's frustration is apparently shared by former Newcastle striker Salomon Rondon - now Dalian's main goal threat.
Due to China's pandemic restrictions, Rondon has been blocked from going on international duty with Venezuela, who face important World Cup qualifiers against Colombia and Paraguay.
