Frustrated Chrissy Teigen insists Khloe Kardashian should be proud of her real body

Chrissy Teigen has confessed her friend Khloe Kardashian ’s photoshopping expose made her feel "frustrated" in her first interview about the scandal

The Lip Sync battle star - who recently quit Twitter due to the negativity before rejoining it - made an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen and discussed her own relationship with her body.

"Honestly, I went a million different ways," the mum-of-two explained to Andy.

"I actually ended up talking about it in therapy, oddly enough, because of my own body insecurity issues and what celebrities have done to people in distorting their image of what a real human body looks like."

At the beginning of April, an unedited photo of Khloe was released without permission, which resulted in the star’s team spending endless amounts of effort trying to scrub it from the internet.

Chrissy confessed she understood where the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star was coming from, but she also felt “frustrated”.

"I look at Khloé and of course I'm like, you're so beautiful, you're so strong. The change that she's made to her body she's so proud of and everybody's so proud of," she said.

“And you want somebody to be like, f**k yes this is my body — in any light. At the same time, I'm like, my god, anyone's able to say and have any kind of portrayal of their body that they want people to see.

“If she didn't want that photo to be out, she didn't want that photo to be out. And that's fine too."

The Khloe scandal began when fans began discussing the difference between the leaked image and the usual photos she uploads - which sometimes includes filters.

A few days later, Khloe went to Instagram to share several clips of her unedited body and even went on Live to prove to fans that her body is real.

Khloe - who is mum to True Thompson - stated on social media: “Hey guys, this is me and my body unretouched and unfiltered.

“The photo that was posted this week is beautiful. But as someone who has struggled with body image her whole life…

“When someone takes a photo of you that isn’t flattering in bad lighting or doesn’t capture your body the way it is after working so hard to get it to this point.

“And then shares it to the world - you should have every right to ask for it to not be shared - regardless of who you are."
