Frosses Road reopens after serious one-vehicle crash

A serious crash has left one man in hospital with injuries which police say are serious.

The Frosses Road between Ballymoney and Coleraine was closed between the Portrush Road roundabout and the Newbridge Road early this morning after a single-vehicle collision.

It has since reopened and police are now appealing for witnesses and dash cam footage from the area.

Inspector McCafferty said: "The collision was reported shortly before 9.00 am this morning. Police attended the scene along with other emergency services.

One man was taken to hospital for treatment of his injuries and is in a serious condition.

"I am appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision, or who may have captured the dash cam footage, to contact them on 101 quoting reference number 345 of 22/07/20."
