A front window has been left damaged after what residents believe to have been a shot fired at a home in Leigh.
Greater Manchester Police has confirmed its officers were called out to Westleigh Lane over a 'potential firearm discharge' over the weekend.
The force says no evidence of a firearm has been found, but police discovered damage to the front window of a property on the street.

Police were called out to the scene at around 8.50pm on Sunday night (August 29).
No arrests have been made so far, while GMP says that no one was injured following the incident.
Members of the public are being encouraged to come forward with any information they have about the incident.
A GMP spokesperson said: "Police were called at around 8.50pm on Sunday (August 29, 2021) to reports of a potential firearm discharge on Westleigh Lane, Leigh.
"Enquiries have established damage to a front window of a property and no evidence of a firearm was recovered.
"No one was injured and enquiries are ongoing.
"No arrests have been made."
