Front line on-call firefighters wanted to protect communities in West Yorkshire

West Yorkshire's fire service is searching for people to become on-call firefighters, responding to emergency calls and working on the 'front line protecting their communities'.

There are 10 on-call fire stations across the region with staff required to live or work within a five-minute distance of one.

Firefighters submit their hours every week and can fit the job in around their other work or personal life.

Those successful will go on to work in all aspects of the role, from attending incidents to fire prevention and protecting buildings at risk.

How to apply?

You can look at full details on becoming an on-call firefighter with West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service here , or click here for the direct application page.
