The front door to a house was among the waste dumped on a Merseyside road by fly tippers.
Pictures shared with the ECHO show a pile of rubbish, seemingly removed from a property, left on Abbotsfield Road, in St Helens. Volunteer litter pickers said the dumping in the area is relentless and constantly removing it has become "soul destroying".
The area around Abbotsfield Road comprises mainly of an industrial estate, and according to residents it has become something of a fly tipping hotspot. One person said: "It happens all the time. People are so thoughtless."

Images of the dumped waste were shared to Facebook in a post, the post said: "f you have had work done or know someone who has and recognise this fly tip please report them to the council. It is not fair on Sutton residents who have to put up with it or litter volunteers. Use the local tip, you obviously had transport."
The nature of the pictured fly tipping has sparked concerns for safety, due to a large portion of the waste lying in the road and possibly obstructing traffic. One concerned resident said: "That is so dangerous too , in the road like that causing people to swerve."
Another person added: "Every single week there is fly tipping on that road."
St Helens Borough said it is aware of the incident and is investigating it further. Residents can report incidents directly to the council online at www.sthelens.gov.uk/flytipping
