From Jaguar and bank work to international DJs the Liverpool success story who have just smashed Creamfields

When two Liverpool worker quit their 9-5s six months ago they could never have expected the success they've seen at Creamfields this year.

Peter Williamson and Andy Manning have went from dreading a Monday morning to spending their summers playing in Ibiza.

The ECHO caught up with the pair after they'd finished their Nightlapse set at Creamfields - which went off.

After meeting at a music festival in Miami, they've gone from festival goers to featuring on the line-up of some of the biggest music events in the world.

Speaking to the ECHO backstage they said: "It’s very surreal to be honest we came here years ago when we were 17/18 and remember standing at the back of one of the tents.

"Enjoying the music looking at the stage thinking that would be amazing to do that one day.

"It’s been unbelievable. We actually met at a festival in Miami stood at the back and just said this will be us one day

"It’s so strange we’re still up there as fans.

"We kind of love the music we are playing so we are partying amongst ourselves so it feels kinda the same [as being a fan].

The pair, known as Nightlapse now play at Ibiza Rocks after being signed to Area10 - the record label set up by American DJ Marc Kitchen (MK).

On playing in Ibiza, they said: "It’s mental you know I used to do the boat parties there years ago.

"You’re suppose to calm down with ages but I’ve got worse."
