We thought the Marvel-themed NBA broadcast of the Golden State Warriors and New Orleans Pelicans contest planned for Monday night sounded absurd as heck.
And yep, it was indeed absurd!
As you’ll see from our roundup below, there were CGI’d Marvel superheroes sprinkled throughout the broadcast, something called “Hero Points” that ended up with Draymond Green winning an extra award at the end of the game, a graphic akin to the classic FOX glowing hockey puck and a lot more.
