K-pop enthusiasts in Thailand will welcome K-pop sensation Ong Seong Wu for his first solo event during "Ong Seong Wu 2019 First Fan Meeting In Thailand
Hatchery Co., Ltd.
Last year, Seong Wu became a member of popular K-pop boy band Wanna One, formed by 11 winners from the 2017 singing competition Produce 101 Season 2 on Korean cable TV station Mnet. After the show, the 11 members signed a contract for 18 months as a temporary group. After the contract ended, it seems fans haven't had enough. There was high demand to see the group reunite -- locally and internationally.
Even though Seong Wu ranked No.5 in the final round of Produce 101, he proved himself the whole package when he released the ballad Hourglass with his bandmate Lee Daehwi, mesmerising listeners with his soulful singing. As a multi-talented performer, Seong Wu impressed viewers with his witty gags when he appeared on TV talk shows. His acting skills on the music video for Only You, sung by Huh Gak, and the comedy TV show Idol Fever were also praised by fans.
After the group contract expired, the 23-year-old performer readied to meet his fans throughout Asia. After collaborations between Thailand's Hatchery and South Korea's Fantagio and MJ Tonz, this is a great opportunity for fans to see Seong Wu sing and dance by himself onstage. At the end of the show, all fans will also get high fives with him.
On Saturday, tickets will be sold on hatcheryticket.com at prices from 1,500-5,500 baht. With his high popularity in Thailand, tickets are expected to sell out very quickly. So be ready. If you don't get a ticket, you can look forward to fan meetings in Malaysia and Singapore. Keep up on the schedules at facebook.com/hatcheryth.
