From having boiled water to keeping away from carbs, here's how Mrunal Thakur's diet plan is an easy but super effective one

Bollywood actor Mrunal Thakur follows a simple yet effective diet plan. The Jersey actor is not just hailed for her on-screen presence, she receives lots of appreciation for her fitness as well.

In several interviews, Mrunal has talked about how she keeps herself fit and how her co-actors have influenced her to take up workouts and exercises.

Mrunal follows a simple diet plan

She drinks 8 glasses of boiled water everyday to keep herself hydrated. Grilled vegetables, fish, brown bread, fruits and eggs are her meals.

She avoids junk foods, carbohydrates and sugar as much as she can.

Her snack boxes are also nutritious and healthy as her meals. She carries nuts, oat cookies, pumpkin seeds and sprouts to munch on between her meals. She also eats lots of fruits, she had revealed in an interview.

Every fitness freak would swearby protein and Mrunal is no exception to that. Her daily intake of protein is through almond protein bars, protein shakes, and soy milk.

A big foodie, Mrunal ditches her strict diet routine sometimes. On her cheat days she loves having pizza, and pasta. She is also fond of cakes and cheese.

In several interviews she has talked about how she drew inspiration to stay fit from her co-stars.

Hrithik Roshan, her co-star in Super30 had inspired her with fitness regime. As per a report by FilmFare, Mrunal says: "When I used to wake up in the morning for the 7 am shift, Hrithik would already be in the gym. After the pack-up in the evening, he would hit the gym again. I remember days when I used to be quite exhausted but I would push myself to do a couple of Surya Namaskars. So yes, Hrithik has inspired me a lot."

As per a report she had dropped 15 kilos for her debut movie Love Sonia.
